Our Story

We have the ambition to directly impact the lives and wellbeing of the people in our communities and create meaningful change in the spaces in which we interact. That is what cultivates our passion for building community resilience and supporting sustainably focused initiatives. We imagine, design, create, and maintain the environments in which we live, work and play.

With over 20 years dedicated to the green industry, Adam is a certified landscape technician through the Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association, he sits on the Professional Development Committee of LOHTA, he’s teacher of landscape construction at Seneca College, and a Fusion Landscape Professional. His passion for this industry is deep rooted.

Belleview Landscapes was established to serve both people and the environment. In addition to conventional landscaping services that customers require and expect, we are introducing new and innovative services that use technology and sustainable practices to deliver quality landscape solutions.

Our Values

Curiosity:

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we are curious, and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
– W.E. Disney

Curiosity drives Discovery. Discovery sparks Imagination. Imagination breeds Creativity. And from Creativity comes Innovation. Curiosity is the catalyst. We approach each job with open minds and a desire to think curiously. We draw from the pedigree of knowledge from our predecessors. We collaborate with like-minded professionals. We create and innovate.

Sustainability:
We aim to operate using the most environmentally responsible practices available. But, we believe that being a sustainable company means more than being ‘eco-friendly’. Sustainability comes from taking care of people as well, team members and community members alike. Every decision we make should be done so while keeping in mind our impact on People, Planet, and Purpose.

Integrity

  • Dependability – You can count on us. We will respond when called upon. We will show up when we say. We will communicate. We will care.

  • Accountability – We may not always get it right. When given the chance, we’ll fix it.

Our Promise

Integrity is one of our core values. As such, our goal is to do what we say we are going to do when we say we are going to do it. We may not always get that right. When given the chance, we WILL fix it. Here are some of our promises to you…

1.) We will respond to all communications within 24 hours. This includes emails, voicemails, and text messages. You took the time to reach out to us about your landscape needs. We’re excited to hear about it.

2.) We will honour our timelines to the best of our ability and communicate any changes that may occur. If we commit to delivering a quote to you in 48 hours, then expect it to come in 48 hours. If your project is supposed to start on the second Monday of June, then expect to see us on second Monday of June. If there is something interfering with our commitments than expect us to communicate that to you.

3.) You can trust us to select the right plants for the right place in your garden. We will replace all shrubbery and trees within a 1 year period. This may mean we make another plant recommendation or we replace the existing plant with the same size and species as before. In addition, we will warranty ALL plant material planted by us for the life if you sign up for our garden care program (Lifetime Plant Warranty only applies while Belleview Landscapes is responsible for the maintenance and care of the plant)

➤ Horticultural Technician, Enhancements Crew Leader, Cool customer

Amy Conley

This rockstar joined us late in the 2022 season to help us push through some exciting projects, one of which was restoring a wetland. On that particular job she displayed her knowledge and her desire to learn. She showed her understanding of the tasks ahead and her ability to deliver efficiently. And ultimately, she just fit. When we first met her, we spoke a lot about the vision of Belleview, our belief in improving community resilience, and how much we focus on making the most sustainable decisions possible in our work. With her environmental education from Fleming, her strengths developed from past work experience, and her desire to do good things, well I think it’s safe to say the she thought we were worth it. And we’re glad she did. Now we have the exciting fortune of being able to boast about raising our bench strength with this rockstar. And we’re even more excited about what’s in store this spring. Amy, let’s get some dirt in our nails. Thanks for showing faith in us. We’re stoked for you to be a part of this trip

➤ Production Manager, Lead Horticultural Technician, Nature Enthusiast

Anne-Lise Watson

Anne-Lise and I first started working together in 2018, while I was developing someone else’s team. She came highly recommended by a colleague when I was looking for someone who could take the reins from me and run a team of new gardeners and horticulture techs. She wasted no time! She was tenacious as all hell and acutely focused on quality and attention to detail. And if you watch her work you’ll also see that she’s a bit of a bad ass. Just the other day she helped Zack, our contract arborist, drop big sections of ash tree like it was nothing. Add in her passion for the outdoors, love of critters, and an environmental science background - It’s a knockout combo that we are really stoked to have in our corner. And it feels like we never stopped working together. Now, Anne-Lise manages our operations for Belleview Landscapes and Freeman Lawn Care Services.
Say hi to @annelise.watson

➤ Horticultural Assistant, Enhacnements Lead Hand, Horse Wrangler

Sherry Lynn Haycock

Hey Sherry! Well, hay is for horses, so say hi to her best friend Tex as well. Frig, we’re happy to have you. Sherry joined us in March of 2023. When I first reviewed her resume back in the winter it read like the journal of a wandering rancher, filled with horse farm this and farm manager that. It had a smattering of time in nurseries and greenhouses but if I had to give you the Coles Notes it would say something like “This girl can work!” And when I met her and we discussed what the job might look like, I have it on record that she said “I’m not afraid of work” proclaimed with a flare of confidence clearly audible in the playback. Frig. That’s the second time I’ve said that. Now since March of 2023, she’s been taking on every task we can throw at her. On top of that, she has a positive attitude, compliments our culture, and is just generally a joy to work with. Thank you Sherry! (When can we meet Tex?)

➤ Horticultural Apprentice, Property Care Crew Leader, Avid Hiker

Jessica Amacher

We had a lot of wins in 2023. And since out inception, our company has evolved so much. I knew I couldn’t do this without having the right people with me. With that said, meet Jessica! She joined us in July of 2023 as part of our property care team and we’re stoked to have her. She blew me away a bit. The way she spoke about managing jobs, accountability, results, was as if she had decades of work on major projects in her resume. It turns out that she is just a natural. That’s not to discount any of her landscaping and conservation experience that she came to us with. Those were major bonuses. But she hit the ground running with great determination. She’s dependable. She’s hard working. She’s tough. She has a positive attitude. She’s accountable. And in recent conversations, she’s held me to account. I admire that. And now, I’m absolutely excited to announce, Jessica is our first registered horticultural apprentice, starting @mohawk.college this winter. Can’t wait to see where you take us!

Brett Findlay

“I think you've found the right Aussie to join your team.” That was the subject line of Brett’s email to us back in February 2023. We didn’t even know we were looking for one of those. But when we “found him” we couldn’t not bring him on board. And since joining the team he has been an absolute rock. He’s taken on the task of running our Property Care Team, pushing our safety standards, and helping us focus on the goal posts. And really consistent about kicking goals. With him at the reigns, our team and our client base has grown. What I admire most about Brett is that he’s level headed and super supportive, ready to share some encouraging words and guiding wisdom. That must have come from a life living abroad as he travelled the world with his wife, teaching in places like Vietnam and Shanghai. Then he also has this broad range of skills and experience. Educated in agriculture and horticulture. JHSC certified. Project management. Landscape construction. Yeah, we found the right Aussie. Cheers mate! We’re stoked to have you. Let’s kick goals!…
